The only correct response to the question, "Would you like some tea?" is "Yes. That would be lovely."
Last night I left the place that I've made my home to return to the place I call home. My family now lives in a month-old house that isn't quite home to any of us yet, but I'm still compelled to say that I've come home for Christmas. Meanwhile, the man who actually is my home is on his way to the place he calls home, which is not the same as his actual home or the place he's made his home.
Amazing how complicated it becomes to think and talk about the simple things in life, eh?
